Shaped by our community
MyWay Mutual emerged from a journey that began with Camplify and evolved with purpose. As Camplify connected thousands of van owners with adventure-seekers, we gained insights into the protection needs of the camping and travel community.
Founded in 2025, we established a member-based discretionary mutual fund shaped by experiences within the camping and travel sector. Drawing on conversations with campers, van owners, travellers, and mobile lifestyle enthusiasts, we designed protection options for those who enjoy life on the road and authentic exploration.
Our approach
We chose a different path: Rather than setting up as a traditional insurance provider, we established MyWay Mutual as a discretionary mutual fund – a structure that allows members to come together and pool resources specifically for their camping and travel needs. This member-based approach means we can focus on understanding and serving camping communities with tailored protection options.
This structure brings members together with common interests in outdoor adventures and allows for protection options designed with those journeys in mind. While MyWay Mutual is not an insurance provider, this deliberate choice allows us to operate differently – with members at the centre of everything we do.

Corporate Structure
MyWay Mutual Holdings Ltd is a discretionary risk mutual fund servicing members across Australia and New Zealand, backed by a global Mutual Capital Instrument.
Our current structure includes:
- Camplify Australia and New Zealand: distributing our initial membership products
- MyWay Protection Pty Ltd: managing protection requests
- Board of Directors: overseeing operations according to regulatory requirements
As we expand to serve more camping and travel-related communities, our structure will evolve while maintaining our commitment to member-focused protection.
What is a discretionary risk mutual?
As a discretionary mutual fund:
- Member contributions fund the mutual pool for camping and travel protection needs
- Our appointed board reviews protection requests according to the PDS terms
- Any surplus funds remain within the organisation for the benefit of members
- Corporate governance ensures operation according to regulatory requirements
We are a reporting mutual with insurance arrangements and we are proud to be partnered with Windward Insurance PCC Limited.

Our initial focus has been on serving van owners in Australia and New Zealand with:
